Ganesh ram jangir a student of Jaipur engineering college and research center in IT branch.He belong to Gachhipura,Rajasthan , India . He is inventor of belt support for handicap people named it " jaipur belt ". This help patients suffering from back problems like kyphosis,spondylosis,slip disc.Jangir has successfully registered this product for intellectual property rights with government of India's patent division.
The product has been published in the Patent Journal India-2011,which is in final stage before acquiring the sole right to produce it in the world.
Jangid who studies in a village school has inherited knowledge on the human body from his elders.It helped him to scientifically design this belt supporting the spine and waist by sharing physical load up to a predefined limit instead of restricting body movements.
He has developed this belt while pursuing engineering from a private college at Sitapura and received appreciation from former President of India,Dr APJ Abdul Kalam while demonstrating its functioning at IIM-Ahmedabad in 2011.He felt the need to make this product for healing multiple problems related to the spine and entered into an MoU with a private hospital for enhancing the design.
The product has been successfully demonstrated on people suffering from kyphosis (bending forward in old age).My team is tirelessly working to reduce the weight to make it lighter so that it can be used inside the clothes, said Dr Anil Jain,department head of rehabilitation centre.Even surgeries for back pain and spinal deformity can be avoided to an extent if it is used at the right time, Jain added.
